September 2013 Navarre Beach Events

WOW what a fun weekend and I hope to see and do all the events going on in Navarre and Pensacola. We have gorgeous weather this weekend.

4th Annual Soft Pack Sand Sculpting Competition

Today is Saturday, September 28th and a perfect day to come out and see the 4th Annual Soft Pack Sand Sculpting Competition. 10 of the world's top sand sculptors will be competing this weekend at Navarre Beach next to the Pier.  There will also be amateurs as well competing on Sunday.

The event kicked off on Friday and runs until Sunday.  There will be a chance to meet the sculptors, demonstrations and lessons on sand sculpting.  Today's events start at 9 am. and runs until 5. Sunday events include the amateur competition registration,  more demonstrations and the final judging.

Arts at the Navarre Park

Next we have the Festival of the Arts at the Navarre Park by the Sound. The festival features local artist, craftsman, photographers, and wood working. The Arts festival kicks off today at 10 am. - 4 pm. and runs until Sunday the 29th 10am-4pm. There will be food and entertainment to go along with all the fun.  For more information check out the website: Arts at the Navarre Park.

Pensacola Seafood Festival

Check out some of our great local seafood restaurants as they offer some of their best seafood in downtown Pensacola historic Seville Square. There will be live music, great seafood and one of our own local artist Carolyn Doyle will be there signing limited editions of her seascapes for a schedule of times go to Fiesta of Five Flags Pensacola Seafood Festival.  All events run through Sunday, so get out and go enjoy some of our best local seafood has to offer.
