Santa Comes To Town

Navarre’s Annual Christmas in the Park parade was today  from 1-6pm sponsored by our local Navarre Beach Chamber of Commerce. The parade started at the local Navarre Library and rolled south along Presidio and ending near the park. The parade started at 230 with a special guest Santa also at the parade the Grinch, Mrs. Clause and the Cat in the hat.  Santa and Mrs. Clause arrived by fire truck and was available for photo’s at the end of the parade. Visitors were allowed to bring their cameras to capture a photographic moment with Santa. Kids who dared to meet the Grinch also had their picture taken. 

This year’s event included a gift mart complete with a gift wrapping station. Shoppers had a great opportunity to find an original and unique item for everyone on their list. At the end of the parade Mrs. Clause had baked goods and a hot beverage waiting for those who visited her bakery.

What fun! My son had the pleasure of being invited to join the local 

Navarre Science Center wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and tossing candy to the kids watching the parade. What a great non-profit to be involved in for more information http://www.navarresciencestation.org

Even though the weather was chilly it made for the perfect setting for a Christmas parade! What a great community we live in and a great day to enjoy our wonderful area.
